Is it possible to operate the Telepass device without having a Via card? << Back
No, the only way a Telepass device can be activated is to ensure an associated Via card is also active. You can operate the Via card independently from a Telepass but not vice versa.
Is the Telepass accepted across the whole of the Italian motorway network?
Yes. the Telepass gives you access to a fully automated payment solution for the entire Italian road toll network. Despite this, we always recommend that you and your drivers always carry the Via card as a backup, just in case theTelepass device malfunctions.
Can I use my telepass in multiple vehicles?
The No. Each device is configured for a specific vehicle. A new device must be ordered if you change vehicles and the old Telepass must be returned in order to avoid charges.
Do I get a discount on my road tolls in Italy?
Autostrade operates a discount scheme through recognised cooperatives based in Italy. In order to qualify for the discount, all customers must join the cooperative for a one off set-up fee , If the cooperative?s combines usage meets the minimum annual usage requirement then the members will obtain a discount of up to 20% on their usage paid annually.
